Everyone likes to know who they are doing business with, so let me introduce myself...

First I will explain where I came up with my business name "Angelwings Designs by Mary Beth"

....Angelwings: are what I call my ruffles on my pinafore dresses, blouses, etc. Designs: are what I love to create and sew for you to always love, cherish and own. By Mary Beth: well that is my name ;)

Now more about me

Ever since I was born you could catch me wearing fluffy ruffles and frilly lace. I never stopped wearing and wanting them even when the style went to the ugly boring stuff. I was teased and made fun of all my high school years from many people but I never stopped wearing my fluffy ruffle dresses, blouses, slips etc. To this day you will catch me wearing my ruffly clothes and bows in my hair!

Some of the many things that I have sewn for myself and yes, these are my every day types of clothing...Have to always have ruffles!!!!

... I always told my mom that I had wings ;) ...

© As you can see by the pictures that I have listed above and below I am not just someone sewing on the ruffles and lace for money. I take great pride in what I do and there is a lot of hours and a lot of love in everything that I make for you and for myself!

© I hand make all bows except my HUGE lace bows...there is no imitation bows here. I even work hard to make you the perfect hand tied bow. ~you know what it is like...tying a bow is easy....making it fluffy and pretty takes work~

© I do not just back and forth my sewing machine and then cut off end stitches...I hand tie each one! ~ever buy something and the hem or seam come loose or a button pop off on you....backing forward and backwards and then cutting the ends off is the reason why this happens~ Hand tying that I do makes my items last for years without those types of problems!

© I sew on my sewing machine and also professionally serge on my serger to give you top quality items, everything is serged...there is never any raw edges left on my fluffies that I bring you angel's!

© All materials that I use is 100% true manufacturers colors, I never dye my materials that I bring to you to insure long lasting beauty with no extra fading, flat colors, light spots or white spots that occurs with dying especially on most lace (which is usually 100% polyester).

© I spend hours and days making items that I sew and sell. If you only knew the hours that I keep to bring you beautiful items that I make. I do not work 9 to 5 and off on weekends....I work long hours and all year round!

© Please note...when I am modeling lingerie, I am ALWAYS wearing my boring white panties underneath the lingerie that I am showing you and selling. I think you should have a "real sized" person modeling your items that you may be interested in purchasing. Rest assured I am dust free and clean :+

© I create and sew only 100% hand made fluffies...but I do not like to refer to it as a business. I do not run a business...I think of what I do as providing fluffies to those that love what I love. So if you expect me to be "business like" you have come to the wrong place to buy fluffies. This is not me...I care whole heartedly with my heart and am only wanting to offer you love, friendship and fluffies! ~ This is me and will always be me!

My hobbies are of coarse sewing and crocheting. I just "Love Birdies" very much I have parakeets, I have a cockatiel.

My favorite and most popular thing I have been sewing for customers has been crinolines, sissy / cross dresser panties and ruffly, frilly outfits. I do want to say, I do not make much of a profit for the items that I sew, often I loose money or just break even. I have sold crinolines, panties, etc. for $21.00 up to $525.00. My prices depend on the materials that I bought to make the beautiful items that I bring to you. I use wide lace for every thing that I make. Well, your colored wide lace runs more expensive (not all colors I can get). I can not buy in bulk like others can and I am very choosy on what I buy. I do try to shop around to get the cheapest but the best materials to make the items that I sew. But no matter what price you pay, you will get great quality work and nothing but the best materials. Plus, you get things that are made from the heart with LOTS OF LOVE and that will last for generations to come!
